Finding his way to the top might not have been easy, but any business person who has made their way to a great position during a down economy will explain that it took hard work and dedication, but was definitely worth it. This is the life of Samuel Foti, an innovative businessman who understands that success takes everything one has and then some. He started out studying at the Wharton School of Business before earning his Masters in Finance and Investing shortly afterwards, but these were only the very beginning for Mr. Foti. He went back to his father’s company to lend a hand and wound up as President, taking Hose Masters, Inc. to new heights by applying the sound theory he had learned in school and combining it with an incredibly sharp sense of business acumen. He refused to let the 1970’s economy get him down about the future of business and as a result, he lasted and continued to grow when others decided to jump ship and head to other industries. Not Mr. Foti, no he stood fast and decided that the life insurance industry held promise for him.

Using what he learned in his other business dealings, he was able to quickly scale the ranks of the life insurance industry from the ground up, beginning as a licensed underwriter and then coming to be President and Chief Operating Officer of the world famous MONY Group, an organization which runs a huge variety of businesses around the globe. Along with all of these responsibilities, Samuel J. Foti can be found on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks making connections and sharing his wisdom with those who will one day be the leaders in their chosen industries. He has never let the world get the best of him and that optimism about society and business has lead him to become a Venture Capitalist, too.
